Do you feel Jeeps, especially new, are overpriced?

I would gladly pay what I did with my Sahara as it is all out fun & IMHO they are fairly reasonable if you dicker down the price!!!

However, the best part of owning a Wrangler besides off-roading and driving around naked (doorless & topless)....it is amazing how these things hold value over other vehicles on the market! Constantly in the Top 10 for re-sale value!

Yeah, definitely overpriced... But it seems like if you find the right dealer you can definitely get em for a much more reasonable price than at other dealers. They also maintain their resale value at a high price so its not as big of a loss as other vehicles. I bought my 09 JKU for $24500 OTD and KBB still has me at $23500. Pretty sweet!

I was sticker shocked when I bought my 07 Sahara. $23K OTD. Ouch, but there wasn't anything else that comes close to a Jeep, and I guess that's why they cost so much.

I have always thought Wranglers were over-priced, it did'nt start with the JK. I never sweated it much, because I thought they were insanely-priced used.

However it does seem the price has jumped quite a bit in a short time. If history repeats itself though, we should see some showroom steals this summer similar to what we saw in 2008.

Cars have always seemed over-priced.
I remember when a new one from any of the big three was $3,000. Over-priced compared to a VW Bug at $1800, which seemed like a lot for what it was.

One reason I never bought a new CJ-5, even though I wanted one very badly, is they seemed over-priced for the tin cans that they were.

why do you say there should be some good deals this summer? i'm guessing that its because of the possibility of an improved 2012. correct me if i'm wrong.

wranglers dont depreciate in value much and you can resell them for almost the same price you bought them for just maybe 2or3 k less, but yea it has no competition and people love them, IF YOU BUILD A JEEP, THEY WILL BUY

30,800 for a two door sahara... why so much? I got my 2011 4 door unlimited sport with some added goodies for 32 and I was looking at 2 door rubis for around 29 I think?? I bought mine at DCH in temecula
