Default Do you do your own oil change?

I was wondering how many take their jeeps to the dealer or if you change the oil yourself....

What brand of oil and filter do you use?

I've done my own oil changes as long as I have been driving, but my new Jeep is going to be different. Because of the lifetime warranty, I am going to have each and every oil change done at a Jeep dealer so that I will have absolute proof that all maintenance done on the vehicle was done by a Jeep dealer. Then they will never be able to tell me that the warranty is void because somebody else screwed something up.

And there is currently a coupon on Jeep.com that will give you an oil change, oil filter plus air filter for $18. I'll sit in the airconditioned waiting room for a few minutes and let someone else get their hands dirty. There's no way I can beat that deal doing it myself.

That's the thing, I was wondering how they would react to an engine problem if you change your own oil. They might want to say that it's your fault...
