+2. I REALLY want to buy some mods for my new '12, but with a new house and a wife/child to care for, toys are put on the back burner.

House payment, Jeep payment, 3 kids to raise, etc. = not much money for mods. At the rate I'm modding the Jeep will be wore out before I'm done.

I'm in my young 20s, and I pay the bills first and put money aside slowly. I haven't sacrificed any of other hobbies yet which makes the process slow, but I can enjoy my jeep with the mods it has. I'd rather focus on keeping good credit for when I want to start a family and need the credit for a nice house or family things.

I'm 28 and I put about $6,000 into modding my old 08 X in the two years I owned it. I recently traded up, and the dealership took my mods into consideration. All in all, I lost some money.. Probably a few G's, but that is life for you. Modding isn't cheap! My 14 is staying stock until its paid off!

Don't feel bad in young and dumb and I'm in the hole becuz of my jeep. I've put about 3k in mine the past 2 1/2 years and I find myself being broke all the time. But I also have another car pay payment for my 02 civic SI which I slightly mod here and there. But your not alone man. My gf is always bitching but she loves wheeling so she tries not to say much.
