Default Do new Jeeps have a "black box"?

I just read this scary article detailing how the government is considering requiring all vehicles have a "black box" to record driving information:

http://detnews.com/article/20110526/...C3%82%E2%80%99

I consider this a terrible overreach by our government! Does anyone know if new Jeeps have one already?

I think it's a good idea to get rid of all the dangerous drivers on our roads

Visit us in Quebec, you will understand what I'm talking about

Yes it does, Its a new setup by Bosch and Chrysler is using it in almost all vehicles now. That is one reason Superchips is having a hell of a time cracking the computer.

Hey, don't group all Canadians with this guy, say I'm driving 105kms in a 100km on some highway and some dum ass side swipes my jeep and there is an accident, so mister police officer comes up and downloads the data from the black box and says I'm at fault because I was speeding when a air bag deployed so how does this make sense ?
