What are the 2014 issues? Are they Rubicon related, or all Wranglers?

I have a 2014 that I am putting myself into fairly deeply, I would rather know what glaring issues there may be so that I can chase them down now rather than get surprised by them later.

Thanks!

This is the main one. Don't know if they ever fixed it. I would assume so but I don't have a 2014 so haven't bothered keeping up to date...

That's why if I ever considered getting a JKU it would be either a 2011 so I can swap the engine later or go with a 2013 if sticking with the 3.6 pentastar although one could probably get a good deal on a used 2012.

Regarding the 12's, my 2012 actually falls under the VINs that have been granted the extended warranty. Some guys have had issues, others like myself ** knock on wood ** have been good-to-go.

I know this question is specifically directed for DJ1, but I've got a 14 and had the drivers side head replaced at around 20k miles.

Wow, that blows goats. I thought the 2012 left head failure crap was far behind us.

Well...I thought so too. I was getting a different cylinder. I think the 12's were getting cylinder 4...I was getting 6. Or vica versa. The good news is that once I went to the dealer with a code, they replaced it no questions asked; regardless of what else was done to my Jeep. I was pleased with that for sure.
