Default Disabling Seat Belt Alam

I know, I know. It's silly and dangerous, but I want to turn off the seat belt alarm. I usually only drive a shirt distance, maybe 2000 yards, when I drive - and it's a pain to have to fasten the seat belt every time. Not to mention off-roading. Anyone know how to turn this important safety feature off?

Yes indeed. I checked and read the manual too. Followed directions - worked like a charm. I am a happy man. I love this group!

You know I am glad someone with a low post count said that because if I had I would have been slammed for not answering the question. Of course to answer it I would have had to read the owners manual myself because I have never done it. I did use it to find out which torx drivers to get, how to turn off the horn alert for setting the alarm, take the top off and such stuff. Isn't the owners manual a wonderful tool. May I suggest for anyone reading this that has not please take the time to read through it fully. Get to know what is in it, familiarize yourself with the operation of your new $30,000 vehicle. I mean you would do the same to learn to operate the functions on a $39.95 DVD player right?

You can always trick it by sticking something in to think that its is in there.
