I learned a lot about jk cj... On wikipedia lol in my opinion if you like painted fenders get the sahara. You can't go wrong with either. ;-) Just make sure if want to get larger tires get 3.73 gear ratio. If you're looking at a 2012

On J eepforum.com, you asked the same question and stated you were looking for 4 door.
Now, again...are you talking Sport or Sport S? I'll assume Sport S for now...
So....here are the differences from the top of my head.
Sahara has the following over the Sport S:
Painted fenders
Upgraded shocks
Hood insulation
Auto Headlights
115V Outlet
Black tube steps standard (option for Sport)
Ability to order saddle interior
Option for painted hardtop
Option for remote start
Option for climate control
Option for leather (heated)
Option for heated seats (cloth)
Option for Nav
18 wheels (Sahara) vs 17 inch wheels (Sport S) Both are 32 inches overall.
Silver Bumper covers
I've priced out both...and if you don't need all of the extras....the Sport S is a really good deal. But I don't want black interior...and I want factory heated leather, remote start, and the 115V outlet....so I'm going with the Sahara. Now I just need to find a color.....

I am in the same boat as panthermark. I want the two tone interior, heated (cloth) seats and remote start. Color is the big issue, there is a lot more paint. I like the Dozer but I don't think with the fenders, too much. I also want to consider the hillbilly pin stripes so I may just go white to hide the scuffs/ scratches. What are the best colors for the Sahara (since Sahara Tan is no more)?

Winter Chill has been restricted to the Arctic Editions...so that is off the list for me.
I'm now also starting to consider Flame Red...but it is all a matter of opinion.
I like the colored fenders, and I think some colors look better than others with painted tops. For instance.....I LOVE the way Sahara Tan 4 doors look with painted tops....but I don't like the look of the same Jeep in Flame Red with a painted top.
Some colors are just too...."loud"...for that much color IMO.
