Yep, rear diff leak. Removed the cover and resealed. Haven't had any further problems.

My rear had a slow leak (no drips on the ground but oil on the cover) after a few thousand miles. Just popped it off, cleaned it up, and threw it back on. I've had no issues since.

my solid cover wasn't leaking until it took a pretty hard hit on a rock, it must have got bent a little because no matter what i did i could not get the leak to stop(lubelocker). took the lublocker out of there sealed it with some rtv retorqued and waaaalaaaa no more leaks

I don't think you can bend the nodular iron of a SOLID diff cover, not unless you dropped your JK off the Sears Tower.

All you have to do is torque that LubeLocker down to about 50 pounds and you'll be good to go.

With the threads posted this week on diff. covers, lube lockers and torquing...? I would certainly not torque anything like that to 50 pounds. Do a thread search in Modified area and see what I mean.

The rear diff on my previous 08 unlimited leaked slightly since day one, the dealer re-sealed it during an oil change no questions and no charges.
