Then you DONT buy a Wrangler.
Wranglers are made for 4x4'ing.
If you dont need the 4x4 capabilitys, there are ALOT better choices than the JK, Because in Ride Comfort, Interior quality, Towing, Price, The Jeep isnt very good in.
For example, that guy should buy a Liberty or a Ford Escape.
The Wrangler in 2wd is stupid.

I think it's great that Jeep is offering a 4x2 Wrangler. I think they should offer it in the 2-door as well. There are some people that want a Wrangler but don't want or need 4x4 or the associated weight/cost/fuel economy penalty. If a 4x2 Wrangler wasn't offered they might buy an Edge or another SUV with a sunroof. I think Jeep will sell a bunch of these to rental companies and in the southern states. Good for Jeep - it will be better for their bottom line and it will help to support models like the Rubicon and maybe additional improvements for the JK that enthusiasts want but maybe are risky from a cost/benefit standpoint - like a diesel engine or standard 33s on the Rubicon...

Some of us have other considerations besides being a mountain man.
I wanted a four door convertible. I found one.
I think a guy like me spending $30K for a Rubicon (when we'll never come close to using to it's fullest) is dumber than buying an H1/H2/H3 for show.

Jeeps are great. I thought it was strange when DC decided to make a 4x2, but the doors and top still come off and that is what will sell them. If someone wants a 2wd then that is fine it would wast a 4x4 if it was never used. It leaves more 4x4s for the peeps that want them and hopefully use them.
