Hahaha I know. I've been so tempted to do it. Just cruising around presque isle is fun to do topless and doorless. Prolly one of my favorite trips to do in the jk. It's about 2 hours from me so it makes for a nice trip.

Dam you did better than a good deal, that was an excellent sweet deal. I got the 285/70R17 duratracs and the cheapest price I got was $295 per tire mounted n balanced got all five for $1,475. Why didn't you get all five tires?

Glad to hear discount tire took such good care of you. The tires look great and I always hear great things about their snow abilities.

I could not understand how discount beat them by that much but i was very happy and pissed at belletire at the same time. After they installed them (two techs busted it out in 30 mins) I tipped each one 5 bucks for the great and fast work. I was so happy with how they looked but after our first real snow a few weeks ago I was so disappoint I was about to sell them and the rims for a big loss just to get something that would do a little better in the snow. So i went in the discount tire 3k miles later because i wanted my tpms's out ( witch they will not do fyi lol) and I also told them about the issues i have had about snow driving and no questions asked they called BFG and sat on the phone with them for 30 minutes and got them to trade in the KM2s for 315/75/17 A/Ts. Not only did they swap it out at not extra cost they rebuilt my tpms's for no extra cost. This was a the best tire buying experience i have ever had and I used to sell tires.... BIG props to discount tire and BFG i am now a life long customer.

and on a side note i wish i would have just went with these from the get go i love them i have had them on my plow trucks, and other jeeps i guess i should have stuck with what i know.

the prof is in the pics all was done in 2 wheel drive

So, you didn't like the KM2s in the snow? I've hearing that they do really well in the snow.

I'm just one of those guys that doesn't see the point on getting a brand new spare. I just ask around on the local offroad forums for a spare. As long as it gets me home and its a mud tire idc lol.
