As stated in a previous thread, I have recently Purchased an 08 X with 35's on 17 inch wheels - how can i determine the size lift and also the brand - there doesn't seem to any clear markings but the 35's clear without issue so I am sure it has been lifted - it was bought from a dealership and no way of contacting previous owner

Without seeing pictures it will be hard to tell. Are your fenders still stock or flat fenders? If you are clearing the 35's with stock fenders and are fully flexed then I would say you have at least a 2.5" lift. I am just guessing...need more information and photos.
