Destroyed JK
I wanted to share what happened today with my 9 month old JK. Basically it burnt to the ground with only a few seconds notice. It is my belief that the evap canister caused this. I am also very concerned for other jeepers that don't take caution and move that god&*(m canister. When the fire inspector finishes I will provide that information. Note: This happened almost instantly and I actually had to jump through fire when exiting the vehicle. Within minutes, the jeep was in the middle of a 20 foot wall of flame.
I will follow this up with pictures so stay tuned!
Here are a few that a friend took.
EDIT: A fellow jeeper took those pictures and they appear to have been removed . I will find out what happened or get the pictures and post them somewhere else.

I'm really sorry to hear about you losing your JK. If im not mistaken I think this is the 2nd one to just catch fire like this. Very very strange im curious to see the reason for this.
Hopefully you had gap insurance. I wish you the best of luck with everything that follows this incident .
EDIT:Clackey you beat me to it! Wow thats crazy im glad to see you are ok.

If anyone has suggestions about how I can best approach this regarding how to recover the losses ( after market parts roughly $8000 ) other than what the insurance will pay, please let me know. No doubt DC design flaw caused this.

I wasn't counting that one cuz they parked in the grass and the hot exhaust caught the grass on fire. Whereas this one and the other one seem to be fueled by gas.
