Defender Returns in 2019
#21
I live in the UK.
I love Defender's, they're everywhere, our Army use them, farmers and emergency services rely on them.
Would I drive one....
NO!
I'll keep my Jeep thanks!
Although they're iconic, they're tough to live with and offer little in creature comforts, they're really something out of the 1950's.
Only one thing I prefer to the current Defender is the thickness of the panels compared to the Jeep, they don't flex when you apply pressure.
Knowing Land Rover they'll just borrow the Defender name and use it on some new 'lifestyle' model just like Jeep has done with the new Renegade. Both Land Rover and Fiat are in danger of following the $$$'s, appealing only to the wanabee's and ignoring their loyal core customers.
My advice to you all is to hang onto your current JK's 'cos in 2017 you'll be in for a shock also!

LOL! Well, "needs to be burned alive" is much more emotional than thoughtful...
