Decent gas mileage?

Well, if we had any hills here I'd try to pick just the 'down' ones.
I live on a small island where the highest point of land is ~400 feet above sea level.
I may have to travel somewhere to test the hill assist out. (kidding, but not by much)

I have 36s on heavy 20" wheels, with a 3" lift.
I get 17.3 in the city, and 20+ on the hwy, depending on my speed of travel.
A lot has to do with the forced cold air snorkel, AEV hood, and superchips flashpaq.
I am expecting better after my exhaust upgrade.

For those of you who had TJ's, how does the mileage compare to the old 4.0L?
I've been on again, off again looking at newer JK's as a potential replacement for my 2003 TJ. I certainly don't expect econo-car mileage, but if I ended up with a couple mpg boost I would be pleased too.
