Default Death wobble questions

Hi,

Basic question is, if you experience death wobble, does it signify beyond a shadow of a doubt that something's most likely loose or out of seat? I experienced it on some washboard ohv road in Arizona. Going about 15 mph it would start and wouldnt stop unless I pretty much came to a stop. It had to be death wobble cause it was some scurry sheeeeit. Sounded like everything was going to vibrate apart at a high frequency.

If you have a factory suspension, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I would just monitor it. If you have a lifted aftermarket suspension, then I would have it looked over and inspected.

I've experienced death wobble twice on my factory suspension over the course of 4 years. One time I had low pressure in my tires, the other time I hit a pot hole. So things like that can trigger death wobble.

Stock suspension or not, if you have a true reaccuring DW something is probably wrong and needs to be addressed. Trackbar is a good starting point.

It had to be true dw. It was crazy how bad it vibrated. I had to come to a stop immediately. In total it did it 2-3 times for like 2-3 seconds each.

If it does it consistently i would certainly recommend addressing it.

I have stock suspension. It only did it that one day, that one road. Never a hint of it again. That was 8 months ago. I will still have it gone through. I want to replace bushings and have synthetic fluid put in everywhere.
