Question?????
I popped for the 36 month maintenance & a "life time" ext warranty for $2460.00.
I'm 99% NEVER a sucker for that stuff but I've NEVER heard of life time warranty.
Is it legit and a good investment or should I cancel that part of it??

I never get them, my mechanic said to give he 2000 and if my car ever breaks he will fix it..... (With a chuckle)
I work at a bank and I know that a good chunk of people do take them, I also know that most do not ever use them so it is a loss.
I guess another question is if you are ever going to change anything with the jeep and if you do will it still cover?

Ext warranty is a personal choice, I really do not know how effective they are.... I would take the time to really read it.

I was kinda thinking it was a bad idea but signed it up right then anyways cause it is in the payment now.
I have 30 days to cancel with no penalty was my logic.Maybe I'll start a poll thread

So you fell for the jedi mind trick of the salesman, lol. Just kidding man. Only you know how long you'll keep a vehicle. If you pretty much know you won't have it more than a few years cancel it. If you're the type of person to hang onto a vehicle for 8-10 yrs keep it. Hell for 3 yrs/36000 miles you already have the warranty.

If you want this warranty. You can get it a lot cheaper at Chrysler extended warranty, Factory backed extended warranties for Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles just put in your info under instant quotes on the site..
You can get it for $2100.
Hope this help.

Just wanted to update with my purchase yesterday, I think I got a decent deal.
2012 altitude with 430, remote start, temp control, no dual top, Auto
MSRP = $38,160
Invoice = $35,831
Affiliate Pricing = $35,473
I got it for $34,676, 3.2% under Invoice (I don't qualify for conquest, military or recent grad, just Affiliate Pricing)
Had no trade in and financed for 2.69% / 72 months
let the modding begin

~$40/month difference, almost $3000 over the term of the loan
