I agree. I contacted one dealer today and she said she'd let the Jeep I want go for $500 over dealer invoice. It only turned out to be $1000 off the sticker price.

Maybe it's because I live in a rural area where there isn't much competition.

I got my new Rubi under invoice. The sticker was $33,495.00 I believe. Invoice was $31,500 and some change. Holdback was $1200, I walked out for $30K and didn't pay the $300 doc fee either. Plus I got the $500 in mopar bucks to.
Basically they got $625 from the indirect lending they did with my bank. They have been good with me, and I was happy.....
Just hold your ground and find the dealer that is willing to work with you.....that is my best advice.

I'm looking at buying this JK What do you think should be a reasonable offer?

If they could get me out the door with tax, title, reg, etc. for $24,000 I think that would be cool.

Update: When in to the dealer today and test drove it. The best the could do is $750 off the sticker price. Dealer around here just won't budge.

This week I got my 2dr Sport Rescue Green/Khaki soft top 6sp with A/C for $20,900 plus the $500 Mopar bucks.

According to Edmunds.com the invoice is $22,161, that's $1,261 + $500 MB under invoice.

Although I have already ordered and spent more money on this thing than on all of my other vehicles combined

So "savings" is a relative term with a Jeep.
