Nice story...
They do get some looks for sure,
Saturday we went to a local Jeep clubs show and shine, that just so happen to be at a Jeep dealer.
I had the only JK there, not to mention a 4 door Rubicon, I think it got more attension then the jacked up, decked out TJ's
I even had a Jeep sales man ask me if he could show some customers my Jeep, because they didnt have any in stock to show them

Ran out to buy cigarettes at the variety store(bad habit) and as I was leaving getting into the jeep the clerk follows me out and jumps into the passenger seat. She goes on and on about how much she loves it (the Jeep) and I end up taking her for a ride. She loved the no doors no roof look. Now I have to avoid going to buy cigarettes there when I'm with my wife. LOL

The wife has a friend recovering from breast cancer. She is out and about and comes over to go to lunch. She sees the rescue green X in the driveway in sunrider mode and is like, "That is SOOOO cool".
So, being the kinda guy I am say, why dont you two go to lunch in that?
I didn't even finish the sentence and they were gone!
She came back with huge smiles.... says I made her day... her week.....
makes ya feel really good.
