If you are pulled over for being doorless, I would simply point out the label in the middle of your header for the officer. It clearly states that the doors and top are only to protect you from the elements.

Noted that aspect earlier...but I know for me and others that was one of the first mods done to the Jeep....sticker removal, so might not have been any warning label stickers left

It think it even states this in the owner's manual with regards to doors/roof only provide protection from the natural elements...

thats really stupid cuz i am in michigan, and i have never been puled over for having my doors off or anything like that but i have been pulled over twice, one for having my foot on the edge of the crack and resting out side the car just a little bit and then he also sighted me for not having shoes on while i was driving, i had saddles and i took them off cuz its hard to shift, and that was it, i didnt even have any out side mirrors, so i was wondering could he have given me a ticket for that???
Outside rear view mirror on each side if view through rear
window obscured.
So, yes he could have ticketed you. Michigan does not enforce vehicles codes very strictly though. Max bumper and frame height alone could take many 4 wheelers off the road in MI if they wanted to.
Normally they will just use code violations as an excuse to pull you over and check you out for valid papers and hope to find more serious stuff, like DUI, drugs, etc.
I see no mention of doors in the code, but this is interesting;
Auxiliary Lights: May be equipped with not more than two fog lamps,
mounted not less than 12", nor higher than 30". No more
than a total of four lamps, including headlamps, lit at one
time. White or amber beam.

I know cops who pull people over for legal stuff, claiming it's illegal, just to have a reason to pull them over because they looked suspicious. Were you doing something you shouldn't have been doing?

No problem with the cops here in TX, Ive been pulled over while doorless for speeding twice over the past few years and they never made a comment about them being off at all, I dont have relocated mirrors either. Did get a ticket for speeding though
