Driving home today in Texas with the doors off it was 108. By the time I got in the driveway it was down to 105. It felt like the heater was blowin the whole way home. Wow! My avtar is actually appropriate now.

I feel the pain... I had to put the top and doors back on. It was too hot even with the safari!

65* here in NY. I don't like this. Living in Texas for 11 years and coming from Florida a couple weeks ago, I miss my 100* temps.

Yepp, I unfortunately have a 100 mile commute in this. It is not that fun, but the new insulated headliner is doing wunders. It takes about 5 minutes to cool off the interior(after opening windows) and the AC has no problem keeping up now.

What part of Tejas are ya in, other than the hot part

I felt like my brain was going to melt when I had the top off during our heat wave a few weeks back, and it wasn't nearly as hot as you are getting.

I been der, had a friend that got married on the Arkansas side, just across the state line. Was a fun one. I am getting to the point I think it is time to pack up as well, head west, if only I had a job to go to....

My furnace came on this morning (set at 58F), and we are still using blankets.
