they can say what ever they want about the jeep. it just means all the yuppie sports car lovers will leave our JK's alone, so more for us people who know and respect the wrangler. i know i love my jeep and would get rid of my GMC truck before i get rid of it.

Does it really matter what other people (non jeep owners think anyway?)
When all these people with their blinged out Hummers and want to be Jeeps go to the beach and park in the lot then stand by their blinged out mall crawling pavement pansy waitng for the girls to walk by.
We are the ones that can drive out to the beach and get them.
When the road stops we're just getting started!!

Good God, this is a no-brainer: The article is titled "11 Worst Cars." Hell, they may as well have rated a Maytag Neptune Washer--probably the best at doing what it's designed to do--in this mis-guided comparo.

Maybe when they come up with a real world test, the results will be different.I've had a lot of 4wd vehicles but when it comes to winter driving my JK is the best.

Consumer Report should stick with rating TV's, ovens, vacuum cleaners, and other general household appliences, as they are pretty good at it.
When it comes to vehicles, ... enough said. They rated the Hundai Santa Fe (SE-$24,000, limited-$28,500) as the best midsize, and Toyota RAV (base price of $21.400, upgraded to V-6 and 5spds auto at $28,200) as the best small suv.
Edmounds on the other hand says: Jeep Wrangler
The 2008 Jeep Wrangler is not so much an SUV as it is an experience. It's slow and loud, handles poorly, has crummy interior materials and features doors that provide virtually no crash protection. But when it comes to off-road performance, the Wrangler is simply the best choice available.
Edmounds at least understands what Jeep is all about.
