Consumer Reports says the Wrangler Unlimited is the #1 SUV you don't want to drive
This I don't understand, Consumer Reports article on Yahoo! about "11 Cars and SUV's you don't want to drive"
It's not an SUV, it's a JEEP.

Cars-Consumer-Reports
and then ranked #4 on highest resale value.
You don't want to drive it, but everyone wants one?
These writers are idiots!

You're not looking at it properly. If it scored 100 out of 100 it'd be a Toyota Sienna. It's the opposite. It's a Jeep. It's totally different. It's not going to appeal to the average lazy tv obsessed person and it's not supposed to. It's low score is a high score for us Jeepers.

"While Jeep boasts that it sells to more owners who actually drive off-road than any other brand, the majority still spend most of their time on pavement."
^^
Wow. genius.
They compared it to an Aveo??? and a Yaris???

Its sort of the same thing Top Gear does when they get a slow vehicle to test.... Trash it because its not what they do. Of course the report is going to say you dont want a Jeep for a daily commuter. Chances are soccer moms dont want crank windows and less than 5 cup holders.
I mean come on... our seats dont even have electric adjustments. Who could live without that? Oh yeah... the people that know side by side tests like this are a joke.

Which is funny considering there are more soccer moms in Jeeps now since the dawn of the JK. I can't count how many times I've seen trophie wives piling half a store into the back of a four door Rubicon that'll never once see a trail.

These people are crazy, the JK is my favorite vehicle I've ever owned.
Plus, I think the front seat is very comfortable. I drove 2 different 30 hour trips the first 2 weeks I owned it and was comfy as could be.

Consumer Reports has always been anti-Jeep, they just don't get it. I consider it a good thing that the Wrangler will never meet their criteria for a vehicle they would want to drive.
I also love how they take a bunch of vehicles designed for off-road use, but don't factor that into their test data. It's like testing a Corvette and not testing acceleration, and then slamming it for not being family friendly.
