My wife and I ordered an Unlimited Rubicon a few weeks back and I started noticing on the pic threads that some consoles have silver trim around the gauges and some just have black. Is the silver trim part of a package or is it only on Sahara models or something? I really like the silver trim rather than black. Just wondering what to expect. What do you guys with Unlimited Rubicons have? We got the Jeep Green Metallic with grey interior if that makes any difference.

I also saw on one mod thread that people have painted the trim. I may do that if it doesn't come silver to begin with.

 

The saharas and the rubicons have the silver trim on the gauge cluster but the x's do not


as far as the rings around the air vents those are black

 

Nice. I truly couldn't remember if the Rubi we testdrove had it or not. Thought it did. Very glad it does since it looks much better than the black.

 

I am not 100% sure about this but I think the silver trim became standard in 2008 for Sahara's only. Can anyone confirm this?

If they are coming on the Rubi, I'm going to have to think about what color I want to paint 'em. Not sure I'll go with yellow to match, so I may have to go with black. Hmmm....
