I like the way you think!

Never had a hardtop... never will. Jeeps and softtops are the way to go! Jeep heaters are great. No need for hardtop unless you are not a lifelong jeeper... especially color matched! Dude shed the extra weight and cruise

That is a pretty silly comment.

Haha yeah...on my 5th wrangler now and decided to go ONLY hardtop as the Freedom top lets me do what I want to do and offers a lot more security and insulation for the winter (esp with hot heads) - to each his own and I'm a Jeeper for life.

He's in Texas not Canada.. I have a soft top and I took the doors off and put the top down since April I'm going to try and put off putting the doors on and the top up until it gets too cold. As it is now its in the low 60's at 6am but then warms up to the upper 70's in the afternoon.

Here is mine with the top up and the top down. Don't have a hard top but it would be nice for long trips.

That's fine - It doesn't really matter where he's from. If he wants to make generalist comments about all Jeep owners he should understand that we all have different needs - to be honest I think REAL Jeepers are the ones who understand and support unique configurations for global domination

I live in a town home with no garage and have no where to store the damn thing, I often find myself being pissed cause its 80+ degrees out and I'm driving around with my top on. If any of you guys who live here in Texas can give me your opinions on weather this is a good plan or not I'd appreciate it!
Hello, I'm a first time poster.
Do you still have the hard top for sale?

In Texas I would say you would be fine with a soft top. I like my hardtop for winter months.
