Common size tools for JK
I know that this has been discussed before but I can't find what I'm looking for.
I got a $40 gift cert for Harbor Freight and I want to buy some hand tools to keep in the JK.
I'm talking wrenches, sockets, torxs heads.
What are the most common sizes found that would possibly be needed?
In know an 18 mm socket is common. What else?

10,11,12 mm 18,19,21 mm 1/2" various torx head sizes.
the first 3 socket/ wrench sizes are what you will find under the hood for the most part, the next 3 are the suspension/ skid plates and such, and the 1/2" is the drain plug size.
i would say a good breaker bar and 1/2" drive ratchet with extensions and both a metric and SAE size impact socket set would pretty much cover you for most things you could run into while out wheeling. i have also found that having 2 medium sized crescent wrenches handy is helpfull

That list covers most everything from a hand tool viewpoint. The stock bumper uses a 15mm i think, its gone now so not important. For me for the JK a good set of deep and normal depth metric from 9 to 21 in 1/2 is the place to start with wrenches in the same sizes.

15mm for tie rod and drag link...
I'd say if you have every socket from 10-21mm in both regular and deep, as well as wrenches for those sizes, you cover just about everything.
