Colors for Sunscreens

Colors for Sunscreens
Most of the photos I see of sunscreens are black.
I want to ask those that have hopefully used both, is there an advantage in getting a lighter color?
My JK is the Silver Billet color and I was thinking about getting the grey color from either DD or SWS.
But here's my question/thought. The black color will keep it darker on a sunny day, but won't it also be hotter?
And right the opposite, it will be brighter under the grey top, but it should be cooler too.
My interior is black and the seats are black/silver center leather.
Does anyone have photos of the grey on a Silver Billet jeep?
Comments or suggestions?
Thanks all.
(Be gentle--my first post here. As well as my first Jeep.)

I was just wondering if being under light colored screen would be so bright it would be annoying. When I had my boat, it was like not being in the shade at all if the underside of the bimini top was white as far as brightness was concerned. I'm sure some of that was due to the water's reflection.
Or the reverse, if being under a black screen you would constantly feel heat radiating down from the screen.
Just trying to pick the lesser of two evils--if they exist at all.
So I know most here probably have the black sunscreens. Can you feel a lot of heat radiating down from it all? At 6'3" my head will be right next to it.
Thanks

I don't think it would make much difference.
The black as a color would only make things hotter if the sunshade itself was then radiating heat into the vehicle cabin. I'm not sure it would.
I'm sure all of them get warm to the touch in the sun, since they're soaking all the UV up instead of you.

I got the bright green as you can see, it stays pretty cool here in the AZ sun. Also, sometimes the green will come through but really not noticeable at all. I would think the black would be pretty hot

I've run the black and the grey sws. I like the grey better. I noticed the "shade effect" less with the grey. By that I guess I'm leaning to your question of ambient light. I felt the black shade kept the cabin darker than they grey. As gas as heat difference, none that I could tell.

I got rid of the black smittybilt mesh top for a blue spider shade. I honestly don't notice the difference as far as how much light is getting in because both are mesh tops. But looking up through a blue mesh top it almost blends into the sky.
