I just got my Jeep, so I'm taking off work tomorrow just so I can take the top off and drive around to show family / friends. Gonna be 40 for the high, bring it on.

Was a CJ and I was 18 or so. It came with a bikini top and camo paint in the places that did not have rust or road sign patches. Went wheeling and it was 33-34 and snowing. Learned a bunch about how bad ass I was...or wasn't. By the end of the day I had spent over an hour hand warming in other vehicles.

My topless Jeep only likes fair weather. But she also likes the "go juice". So I use the "juice miser" when road conditions permit. So far my best / worst is 26*. And my daily commute is 65m.

For the last two years I have done the local Christmas parade and I go doorless and topless...always below freezing...this year, however, was really cold...upper 20's! No amount of heat helps when you're rolling at 50+ (that was the ride home) in those temps...bundle up!

Just guessing
On (extremely) rare sunny winter days in Detroit I'd drop the top on my 1966 Datsun 1600 Roadster back in the day. Just like snowmobiling. I guess it was probably around 20-30 degrees. I also guess I was probably chemically fortified at the time.

Back in 2001 in my 97 TJ in upstate New York, had to fix the hardware since my buddy took the Jeep through a tree. I ran out of time and had to go to work, graveyard shift. It was clear and in the 20s on the way to work but 12 hours later it was in the 20s and snowing.
