My former and now 19yr old son’s 93 Cherokee Sport is the only Jeep I have owned; so I cannot comment on the convertible feel of a Wrangler in the winter.

But I have tasted 25deg. Weather on my Hayabusa. I will say this, you tend to forget about being cold once you pass the 150mph mark…

42 degrees at night for about a 1.5hr trip each way. I love it. If you start to get a bit cold, turn on the heat; it will be just warm enough to keep from shivering.

mine was about 40 ish with no top and doors, about 20 min drive. Can't really feel the heater blasting with the doors off . We were screaming all the way home

I haven't had a chance to have the JK in low temps yet. But in my YJ I had the top off for over a year in Virginia. I drove in temperatures as low as 5 F. Gotta love Southwestern VA in the winter...... The price you pay to look cool:-)

< 32 F, Winter Carnival at Michigan Tech in a TJ. No top or doors, windshield was up, Carhart Arctic Extreme overalls and jacket.

old thread revived ... just in time for the cold temps

28 degrees this morning at 5am with the front panels off on my way to play ice hockey. Brrrrrrrrrrrr. Worth it though, will be in the 60's and sunny today !!!

The day i bought it. THAT DAY the temp. in south florida was 38˚. I was obligated to keep the top down. BUT MAN I WAS COLD.
