I upgraded after some trail damage to 35s on 15" black MB72s to keep the black rims look. It's my 2nd vehicle with black rims, i like it.

You can also sell your rubicon springs and shocks for about $200 if you get a lift with new shocks. I kept the rubi shocks and got extensions. I gave my buddy my springs for beer for his stock 2 door JK.
Thanks for your advice. Do you think I am wasting money by buying most expensive series of the jeep wrangler and trying to change it?

I'm in the same boat as you man, MW3 #699

The wheels and tires, that's a minor thing, Jeep isn't going to sell a Jeep with 35s. So if you want bigger tires, you have to bite the bullet on that.

I want to put the rear tire carrier by AEV on next, so I'm saving my pennies.

It's a waste if you buy the MW3, then put on different bumpers, sliders, etc, UNLESS you are able to sell the MW3 bumpers for close to their cost & are able to do the mods yourself. Otherwise you are throwing money away.

But I added the lift, tires, winch. all on my own, so I'm ok with it.

If you want a sick monster jeep, then it would have been better to start with a 2wd jeep, and build it from the base.

I kept my rims and tires, and am storing them just in case. I'm not adding bumpers or anything crazy. Here's a pic. I used the pre-existing holes from the winch cover to mount the fog lights, so no new holes anywhere.

I went with a 3" pro comp lift, It came with springs and shocks. I'm running 35's, added a beefier tire carrier. Still have a 2.5" body lift to throw on before I can get back to more advanced trails.

It did bring it down from 15/18 to 13/16, waiting for the tuners to come out to tweak it a little. Also going to add an intake either Banks or Air Raid, trying to decide between the two.
