I upgraded after some trail damage to 35s on 15" black MB72s to keep the black rims look. It's my 2nd vehicle with black rims, i like it.
You can also sell your rubicon springs and shocks for about $200 if you get a lift with new shocks. I kept the rubi shocks and got extensions. I gave my buddy my springs for beer for his stock 2 door JK.

The wheels and tires, that's a minor thing, Jeep isn't going to sell a Jeep with 35s. So if you want bigger tires, you have to bite the bullet on that.
I want to put the rear tire carrier by AEV on next, so I'm saving my pennies.
It's a waste if you buy the MW3, then put on different bumpers, sliders, etc, UNLESS you are able to sell the MW3 bumpers for close to their cost & are able to do the mods yourself. Otherwise you are throwing money away.
But I added the lift, tires, winch. all on my own, so I'm ok with it.
If you want a sick monster jeep, then it would have been better to start with a 2wd jeep, and build it from the base.

I went with a 3" pro comp lift, It came with springs and shocks. I'm running 35's, added a beefier tire carrier. Still have a 2.5" body lift to throw on before I can get back to more advanced trails.
