You all can go buy one so my gas price drops on the lack of demand!

I followed MD_Rubi's link. The pictures are huge so I'll just post a link.

Even with the picture I couldn't tell you where the battery is.

meh.

add 35" tires and max speed = 35. and esp. goes wild. I don't know. seems complexity could be a problem.

I think the constant retooling for the current trend is environmentally irresponsible. They should just pick a model and make it for ever. Make minor changes that can be added to the existing fleets. Make vehicles that the intended life time is longer than 6 years.

more then double what i am getting now, but the jeep wont be the same, i cant see those little electric motors powering 37" tires over rocks and stuff.

is the end coming????

Actually, battery power is much much more powerfull than gas motors, or they can be atleast.

my g/f's Tigra is a 1.4 petrol and the tank is tiny and even she manages to get over 400miles out of it!

Good direction, just needs to be advanced further imo!
dude your comparing a 2000lb car to a jeep....seriously....

With all these plug in electric vehicles that are going to hit the market in 2010, I wonder what the strain on the nations electric grid is going to be. It wouldn't surprise me if there is a spike in electricity prices that negates the savings in gas. We certainly aren't building electric plants at a rate fast enough to meet this new upcoming demand.
