Thank you all and sorry for the rant/hijack.

Thoughts and prayers go out to your brother Wendy. Oh and what part of CA. Are you in?
No worries. I'm 2 hours south of you.

Wendy, I know you didn't mean any disrespect by it but not all of us who don't pay taxes do it by choice.

See, I'm a disabled Vet, I served a year in Iraq and 6 months in Afghanistan before an IED exploded under my truck causing a severe concussion, shrapnel wounds and injuring my back. I count myself lucky though, my driver did not make it home. I'm now permanently disabled and unable to work. I get by though, i can still walk, most days with a cane, but not always. I enjoy life as much as I can while dealing with the demons in my head.
The hardest part is not working, being a productive member of society. But i would gladly do it all again for my country and those in it.
On bad days I hop in my Jeep and go for a drive, that's why i love it, and having the the feeling that i am part of a community of jeepers makes me feel even better. You all are a special kind of people and i like that too, even though some days we are all just "special".
Im in canada but thank you....I own a home in Florida, and wish I could become a live in resident of the states to live in florida. If I am ever in your neck of the woods, im taking you out for a beer!

Looking good. Yeah I had the hard top on but had purchased the Dual Top group... so the only time the hard top was off was to remove the soft top from the vehicle. So the fun began as I couldn't remember how the soft top went and the owner's manual doesn't cover (from what I saw) the installation of the soft top... only the lowering or raising. Then I noticed that since the soft top was never used... it was tighter than a winch cable during a recovery. But after a day in the sun it loosened up a bit.

Now its time to get mirrors and prepare for going doorless...

Nice fenders Maverick!! No lift yet? Did you get your ebrake adjusted?

The look of your JK without a lift (and with the flat fenders) makes me think I could possibly run 35's with no lift and no rub...even with articulation.

Might be possible. Rock Krawler advertises you can run 37s with their 2.5 and flats.

Might need a leveling kit at minimum to run 35s. TF sells theirs at $130

Looking good! I know those flares weren't faded much at all,but I just used some Mother's Back to Black on the faded to hell stock front bumper I recently picked up, and it looks brand new now. So those Bushwackers should def look new with some of that stuff.
