Default Chrysler Lifetime Maximum Care

Anyone have an opinion on the lifetime maximum care warranty from Chrysler?

Worth the $$?

How long do you realistically expect to own this particle jeep? That is a very important factor for your decision.

That and why pay for anything that will be voided as soon as you start modding stuff?

I have it. Mods or not, the warranty damn near payed for itself when the hard drive on my MyGig GPS crapped out. $2300 replacement with labor. No lift will void the warranty on the stereo.

I got the max care plan and have a issue with my radio so it's gonna pay back right there.

I have it and wish I didnt buy it. Not because I have been scammed out of my money but because now I'm looking to possibly sell my 2010 Jeep. The warranty is not transferrable (even though they told me it was when I bought it). And they do look for a reason to void the warranty. i read that even if you change your address they will try to void it.

That is a good point. When I got my 2011 I thought I would keep it a good while but 18 months later I sold it and bought the 2012.

I do plan to keep this one a lot longer and then pass it on to my grandson when he gets old enough to drive.

Thanks to all for your input. It wouldn't take many repairs to pay for the price of the extended warranty.

Yes, but if you don't keep it more than 36,000 miles or 100,000 miles for the powertrain then the warranty is not a wise use of money. I intend to keep mine for at least 8yrs and over 150,000 miles so I bought the warranty.

You can get a pro rated refund. I got like $1800 back on mine when I traded in my 2010
