Back when my '93 YJ was new, I liked the chrome grill. But that was then...it was a different time. I did have a chrome fuel door and chrome light guards on my silver JK, but it was subtle, because of the color. Now that I have a black JK, I wouldn't even dream of putting anything chrome on it. Not that I'm a fan of the blackout look either, but I'd go for blackout before chrome.

Oh, and I'm a motorcycle rider too, and I just don't get chrome on bikes either. I'm a dual-sport rider though, so chromed out Harley's seem useless to me.

Then you'll love this. Not into bling but despite trying to fight the urge I can't resist stainless on a jeep. And now with my door hinge paint bubbling , sorry stainless seems like the way to go. Call it what you like but it'll last. Did my old 88 rusty hinged 88 in stainless too. Anyway to each his own . Here's my ride rag on it if you like. Stubby bumper, ion 15" rims w/dakota 33x12.5. Rancho 4" sport lift and rs9000 shocks, myride controller. Wasn't gonna go 4" but the rancho deal was to good to pass up. Already had the wheels otherwise would've.went with 35's (next time). I'm the only jeeper I know so good or bad feed back would be appreciated. Not like its gonna change my opinion anyway. Thanx

Yeah I do agree with the Chrome especially the 3m stick on. There's a green two door riding around me with at least 22" rims and extremely Lo profile tires . If I ever see it parked ill snap a pic. It was quite disturbing, made a jeep into an utterly pointless vehicle, but again to each their own. Nothing wrong at laughing at em though. Here's my stubby front before the lift.

Default Chrome Sweet Chrome

I pride myself on being unique and original. Therefore, I am proud to say, I love me some Chrome. I don't care if its not rugged, or looks too shiny for the trail. I think it looks damn good. I got the Chrome grille inserts, fuel door, and will be putting on the Chrome door handles once it gets a little warmer. I'm also thinking about getting the lift gate chrome overlays too. I'll be sure to post pics on this thread too so you can all tell me how you gouged your eyes from it's beauty. I'm not trying to be obnoxious, I just think its hilarious how adverse to shiny surfaces most posters here are.
Isn't owning a Jeep supposed to be all about expression of individuality and fun ?

Not as cheap and cheesy as using 1" boards to block your wheels when working on your ride bro. (Unless you don't think your Jeep is capable of climbing a 1" obstacle...) ....just kidding.

What really sticks out to me in that picture is the goodyear SRAs not the chrome!
