Quick question. I ordered my Unlimited X, soft top only with S pkg, power group and tow group, four weeks ago from my dealer in NY. How long does it take to get a VIN and/or any kind of acknowledgement that my order exists?

They should have given you a VON (Vehicle Order Number) when you placed the order. You will be able to get a VIN when the vehcile is given a build date and moved ot D status. You might want to giv eyour dealer a call. If it did not move to D status today or maybe tomorrow then you are looking at the 19th for the next scheduling allocation.
