so i called the dealer to see wha they gona tell me about my car and after being on hold he told me that my jeep is under zone restriction. he couldnt explain wtf that is. sounds like he is blowing smoke. and then he tried selling me one of the x's he has on a lot, so i said no. what is a zone restriction?

I ordered my Sahara Unlimited on Oct. 10. I'm starting to realize that I probably won't see it until 2007. If I'm going to wait that long, can I have my dealer add the Navigation to it (it's still in BG status)? At what point can I no longer make changes to my vehicle? Thanks.

I ordered my Sahara Unlimited on Oct. 10. I'm starting to realize that I probably won't see it until 2007. If I'm going to wait that long, can I have my dealer add the Navigation to it (it's still in BG status)? At what point can I no longer make changes to my vehicle? Thanks.

I was feelin really quirky this mornin' and I decided to confront my dealer with this restriction nonsense he gave me. So I spent about 20 min on hold and the wanker never picked up the phone. I think he may have felt whats coming. And this is a 5 star dealership on jeep.com
So I call back and ask for business dept manager. So I let it all out. He went and personally dragged the salesman I dealt with to the phone and we all went over this restriction bullshit. Basically there was no restriction, he made it up. He said that the car is on order but is not being physically built yet. As I mentioned yesterday it is in status BG. He told me to check back on the 9th with him. I also made him come clean to me about realistic delivery date. He said to plan pickup for late December and not 6-8 weeks as he initially told me cuz this is already week 4. Oh man he don't realize. He was about to get nunchuuuuuuuuuuuuucked toniiiite

Do you know if this will affect your place in the queue at all? I've been back and forth on a few smaller details in my head, but I would definitely not risk losing my "place in line" for them.

I have no idea how this ordering actually works. I didn't order until Oct 24 for an Unlimited Sahara and I am BX status already. Maybe my dealer hasn't used up their allotment or something. Any, hoping I get it before the end of the year especially since the dealer is trying to take my Jeep....

In your case I would put my money on January for delivery.
