Well, for my weekly kicks and giggles, I called the 800 number.
Spoke to perhaps the mostly pleasant gal I have gotten so far on the phone.
She seemed downright excited to tell me that I had went to BG status on January 8th, and that my JK should get built soon.
I just didn't have the heart to correct her by telling her that I had been in BG status for a month+, but had been in BX status at least 2 times before that, each time being told I was ready to move to D, only to be pushed back to BG status again.
I am really starting to think that maybe I don't care to own a Jeep product that badly....I hate to reward bad customer service, and the frakked up ordering system that is DMC with their Jeeps is bad customer service.

Man Beel, talk about rock and hard place. not to be a smart arse but have you thought about going to a different dealer? You are closer to Kellog than I am. I ordered 11/1/06 should be getting it end of month. Again not to be flippant or rub salt in a wound. I do really feel for ya!
Trust me, I've done searches in major cities all through the west. I know the inventory search isn't the most reliable but it's a place to look. I may end up placing an order with someone else but at this point I don't think it's going to help the situation. I'm sure anything ordered today hasn't got a chance of being built before March. I certainly won't cancel the existing order either.
Even though I secretly hoped it would be here sooner, I knew this was going to be a long wait. It's a brand new design and I know the wait will be worth it.
The only frustrating part is watching other Rubicons coming off the line even though they were ordered weeks after mine.
That is not a stab at anyone who has their Rubicon, I congratulate you all and hope you are enjoying the ride. It's just tough being the red-headed-step-child.Beel

The wait is killing me like you would not believe.... It sucks when my dealer says 6 weeks 8 weeks.... I counted the days... then 6 weeks gone 8 weeks gone... on almost 3 months and only in D I know that puts it only weeks away but still way to far away.. Finding this site has been great, and this thread has help me a lot. Being able to track the progress has at least made me feel like I own it because I can know see it move through the system... OMG I feel like and expecting father again... got the garage all cleaned out... all my tools lined up even bought a couple new ones... I even have all my accessories out and ready to add... I may be going crazy lol
