It is officail that hard tops are back on the menu in "limited quantities" The only things built out for February allocation period are all 2 and 4 door Rubicon's. So if you do not move to D status by Thursday morning then you are out of luck for Feb build. Start saying your prayers for March.
does this mean that the jeeps coming in this month have the updated hard tops(to deal with leaks), if you ordered a hard top that is.

Guess now that I see the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train, I will give my updates here. Ordered my JK sometime in 1984 or 1985. Thinking it was 84 cause I remember wearing parachute pants to the dealership and I traded a nice trans-am in on it. After checking every other week for a few years, I have found out that as of Jan 8, 2007, I am in D status. I am thinking that all of the kinks posted on here will be worked out by the time I get it...... Plus mine will be red and DC is only gonna build 1(one) Red JK for the entire 2007 year model. At least thats what the salesman told me and he is so smart!!!!!

I orderen mine on Sept. 27th, been back and forth between BG and BX. Today i found out my fleet manager went back to his original dealership. After a little stress, found him. Apparently he took my orders (2 Riubicons) with him and will be in "D" tomorrow with vin #'s!Hopefully we all are going to see a big turn-around!!!!

Picked it up yesterday!
I got it!!!!! Drove it home around 11pm last night. A few things to note and some initial thoughts:
New screws on doors (no longer painted, but they are black - problems with paint chipping before???)
They changed the hard top but wouldn't tell me what they did, guess to remedy the leak situation???
Saharas come with YES Essentials seats, that's cool I didn't know that until yesterday. Can't wait to pour coffee on it and watch it bead off.
I've heard golf carts with louder engines! And road noise is almost nonexistant
Reverse is hard to find and its going to take some getting used to to put it in 6th.
Sound System is top notch for a factory system (The Infinity "Premium" system that is)
Damn the black looks sharp with the 18's. I'll post pics later tonight.

I got the call this morning... My JEEP is IN!!
Taking off work early today to take care of the paperwork and then I'm driving that baby home!
Yeah I'm going to be practically useless at work today and the next few days!

Thanks Beel. I am on my 3rd Wrangler and I ordered my wife a 4 door Rubicon. Still not sure how I pulled that off but Im not complaining. Anyway, I love my jeep and I have some really cool quality "family" time with my kids offroading. Im just like everyone in here that is waiting on a new toy that if it were here yesterday, it wouldnt have been soon enough.
