I knew I shouldn't have gotten too excited when I got a vin and a ship date...

I was at D-1 plant sequence, and now I've reverted to D firm schedule.

Everytime I get a different cust serv rep, I get a different answer. Typically the start by claiming they can't look it up, then I tell them that they were able to yesterday, then suddenly they find it, but this time I don't know if I trust anything he said. He was also stating that I wasn't supposed to know what the codes meant, which only lead me to believe that he didn't know what they meant at all.

Oh well, so much for my Firm delivery date,

thanks, talked to dealer today and they told me my jeep is going to made on Feb 9 th, i'm getting more and more excited! shooting for first week of march

It has not been a fun ride let you tell you this... Things took a turn for the worst on Friday, but it wasn't Chryslers fault at this point. It was my dealer. If only I had employee pricing, I wouldn't be in this predicament, lol.

So I sold my Jeep that I was going to Trade, now the dealership won't talk to me. They won't give me a set of new numbers without a trade and keep blowing me off and telling me they are too busy to talk to me (mind you, it's the first time I called them since I ordered the car) I assume it's because they were going to sell my trade for a lot more than they claimed it was worth. I had negotiated a price for invoice-holdback + $800 profit for him, which I felt was fair. Obviously, he only agreed to that because he was giving me much less for my trade that it was worth.
I called into Jeep to try to get them to switch it to another dealership that said they were more than happy to take my $800, but they likely can't change it at this point they claim.

Hey if it was me what i would do, if you want the jeep that got ordered in. Goto another Jeep dealer and get them to do a dealer transfer from the dealer you first ordered you Jeep from to the new one (the one that wants your 800 bucks) THe new dealership will just buy it from the old dealership and sell it to you. You still get your Jeep you ordred in, just from a different dealer. Good luck!

That's what I will likely do, the only problem is that I will end up paying $991 more because the dealer was 'claiming' that he was giving me invoice-dealer holdback +$800, this other dealer will not be able to shed the holdback. Sigh.
