The $1750.00 Off Accessaries was from the first of March to end of April. It may have been only available in Canada, so we did up the paper work as of 30 of April when I picked up the Sahara on the 7th May.
The $500 OFF coupon is available on line, it may also only be a Canadian only offer.

I ordered mine on 5/8 and on 5/9 is was in 'C' I've been on the fence about getting one for over a year now and can't wait to get it. I came close to getting one that is about 6 hrs away, but decided to order and redo some finances and attempt to sell my '95 YJ...

I ordered mine on 04/29 and just checked it for the first time today. It's in a D status with a ship date of 06/14/2008.

They gave me the VIN number and I checked it on the jeep site. It's not valid yet. I did figure out the first valid VIN below mine is 2950 below mine. They seem to be allocated sequencially. I think I read somewhere that they build about 500 per day. So based on that my VIN will probably be valid sometime next week.

I checked my vin number after I called and got the partial, and it didn't work. I asked the dealer to check today. Not sure what the status is, but his estimated ship date is now 5/27 and got the full VIN. Checked the VIN on the owner's site and it's now valid. I didn't think it worked until after the unit was built.

Things are progressing faster than I expected....I need to get my YJ on the market!

I ordered a 2 door rubicon, 6 speed, soft top, half doors. The only options I ordered were the tinted windows and the tow package.

Let me guess. The last 8 digits of your jeep is just somewhere south of 8L641517. That's the highest VIN that works on the Jeep site as of today.

Heh, yeah 30 shy of that number... Seems kinda quiet here these days. I guess folks are finding what they want on the lot or just aren't ordering anymore....

I guess the Rubi is why you have a tiny bit longer wait. I was surprised with all my options that I was so far advanced.
