Well it's finally home! I picked her up yesterday. For any of you guys out there still waiting, here's a rundown of my ordering status:
08 Unlimited Rubicon ordered 12/10/07
BX - 1/8/08
BG - 1/16/08
Still BG - 1/29/08
BX - 2/1/08
D - 2/5/08
D1, estimated build date 3/19/08
KZL - 3/25/08
On the lot 4/7/08

Jeep.com finally pumped out my VIN.
So it was built yesterday the 8th April.
Now to start tracking it to the lot.

how do you track it when it's built

What is going on I have been D1 status for a while and they just keep saying I am D1 and ship date is tomorrow. They are also saying it should be at the dealer in 4-6 weeks after the ship date????
Anyone have any advice for me?

They buid the entire jeep and ship it out the same day. Their computer system only updates once a day in the morning. If your ship date is tomorrow, then most likely your status code will not change until Friday if you call the CS line. They tell you 4-6 weeks to cover their ass, it won't take that long.

I dont have mine yet so what I say is what Ive dug up. I was told 6-8 weeks from built complete date, which is 4-19-08. I got excited when I saw a post in this thread were someones jeep was build complete on 03-19-08 and he is probably out driving it now cuz he got his on 04-07-08. That's only 20 or so days. My dealer also said that jeeps ordered with the my gig were taking alot longer cuz the manufacture is back logged. I hope all of us waiting will b-happy soon as the 08 production yr comes to a close.

As of 12:10 central time I am in S status she that was paint but I thought that was F status??
