I went D1 today 4-4-2008 with an estimated ship date of 4-10-08! whooo hoooo!
Now does that mean that the ship date is when it leaves the factory so it will be another week after that at least? Till my baby comes home with me?
That seemed very quick to go to d1 status I guess cause its a 2 door wrangler they told me that have alot more of those than 4 doors or rubicons?
Any idea on arrival?

My Rubi finally showed up on the Jeep "For Owners" page! Called and found out it's on its way here to Phoenix!
I entered the tracking number into Union Pacific's page but I can't make much sense of the results even with the decoder ring!

Waiting game
I'm trying to stay sane with what appears to be the same problem as everyone else. I went d-1 on 04-04-08 for my 4dr jk rubi. they gave me a ship date of 04-17-08 and told me to allow 6-8 wks after that is this right. Where does the train go before Co.

I'm probably a few miles from ya, so can answer this one! I was tracking it via google, and if your's is like mine, the railcar will come through Nebraska, but stop in Cheyenne! A day there for unloading, then another stop here in Denver. I think it spent a night in Iowa as well. I guess it depends on the load, really.

I finally did it...ordered my 2-dr, 6-speed, hard top, 23S package, stone white jeep!

Well, FINALLY leaving the waiting room. Picked up my Rubi tonight. It was almost 8.5 months from order to delivery. An unexpected bonus was that the dealer accepted the fact that I own a CJ to get me the owner loyalty rebate, so I got an additional $750 off.
Good luck the the rest of you, but please don't expect much sympathy if you've 'only' been waiting two or three months... Lucky for you, the wait seems to be MUCH shorter now.
