Its being stored at the factory until they can schedule it to be sent on rail or by truck to your dealer. You should have your Jeep in 1-2 weeks or at the most 3, depending on when they can can get it scheduled for pickup.

thanks.....i hope i went JS since my jeep is only traveling about 2.5 hours to the dealer. it's may be waiting for a car carrier.

finally!
My jeeps Vin # showed up today for the first time on the Jeep website so she is born. I was in paint yesterday so I'm pretty excited. It's only been 5 1/2 months. From what I'm reading the wait times have really narrowed, about time, right? 
Think I'll call CS to see what they have to tell me today.

Almost out of Here!!!!!!!!!
Dealer emailed today, saying my jeep has made the trek on train through ohio, to minneapolis, and is now in my home province in Canada. The jeep is in a city 2 hours away (Winnipeg) from mine (Brandon) and is going to be placed on a semi trailer today or tomorrow.

well, i've been stuck in JS since monday and i have to turn in the grand cherokee that i leased 39 months ago tomorrow morning.
my dealer still sounds optimistic and since i am a good customer, they are actually giving me a loaner when i drop off the GC......no complaints there.
they said they only expect me to have to drive the loaner for "a few days."
.......but this wait is KILLING me! my garage has a big shelf full of toys that i bought and no JK.

Only a few days from JS to driving? That sounds great. Mine is also in JS and I'm a couple thousand miles further from the factory. Hopefully this month.

jk dawg, this is only what my dealer is telling me......whether it really is a few days remains to be seen.
my dealer is actually a lot closer to toledo than i am. it's only about a 2.5 hour drive.
i will continue to keep you posted on how long i am in JS.
