Are allocations handed out throughout the day or are they finished by a certain time in the morning?

So someone that was in BX in the morning, could they move to D late in the afternoon?

All the dealers know at the same time Monday mornings what they will be allocated by number. Like I know I am allocated 21 4 Door Wranglers. They will now begin moving my orders from BG or BX into D status between now and Wednesday night. On Thursday morning I will know exactly what is going to be built.

I have experienced times when they moved all of my allocation within a couple hours of releasing the allocation report. There have been other times in which nothing was moved to D status until the last minute on Thursday.

OK Today was my scheduled delivery date according to my dealer. ITs 5:30 now and still no word. They told me if it didn't come in by the end of today it should be in tomorrow.

The wait continues :sad:

Did they contact the local shipping yard to see if it made it on a truck? Not sure about your dealer, but most places in the US the dealer can contact the yard to see what made it on the truck and what time the truck will be dispatched.

Regarding your signature; I assume you skipped the MyGig and will have it put in later?

Hello everyone!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster!


I ordered my jeep on 11/04/06. I'm getting a Unlimited Sahara, Soft top only, tow package, etc.

I called my dealer last week and was told it was in BG status. My dealer called me this morning to say I'm in D1 status with a ship date of 12/14!!

I didn't expect to get the jeep until late January and now I may recieve it by the end of this month! I noticed that someone else ordered a similar jeep around the same time and is now in D1 status as well. Is this possible because it's a Sahara with a soft top only? This would make sense with the hard top shortage. Anyone have some insight on this?

I have a buyer lined up for my car so I need to know if this is for real. I hope it is!

I've been in D1 status since Nov 30th. Called again today, still in D1 status. MY ship date was Dec 6th...

supfreak26, Ive commented here on my order which was placed Oct 19th, and its a Sahara unlimit, too with soft tp, tow pkg, . Last thurs DC said it was D-1 status. My dealer had told me while back it was to be here Dec 11th................hmmm, no Jeep sittin in my driveway. Im wondering when they are going to shut down for the holiday and could it be built before the closure. Ive heard that they have 80 additional workers at the plant and are working weekends on volunteer basis, not to mention longer shifts.

As for the MyGig your correct, I'm waiting on it but am hoping to swing some type of deal so that I can roll the cost of it into the payments (Probably going with the Chrysler Finance +) and not have to cough up the $1,600 at once, we'll see. All I have given the dealer is a small downpayment to secure the order.
