Ok, I called about a week and a half ago and the operator told me I was still in BG status and would remain in BG until my dealer contacted them to straighten out some kind of material hold. The dealer called and didn’t get any useful information.
I called this morning and I’ve now moved to BX (passed edit available for schedule). I asked the operator if there was any chance I could get a VIN this week. My financing expires on Friday. She said I could try later in the week or have my dealer try to call and get one. She said if not this week then next week.
That is potentially good news but how realistic is it that I’ll get a VIN this week? I don’t want to submit for financing a third time, I really wish this would happen this week and save me the trouble.

And I should also point out that I am a TOTAL sucker for the Tennessee accent of the customer service rep I got.

Huge Allocation Announcement!!!!!
So first part of January Allocations are out today. The 4 door allocation for us was huge! Showing 21 allocated, hopefully not an error. I would expect other dealers to be blessed proportionately. Allocation balance out is on the 13th. So if you are not in D status by the end of the day on the 13th, then your next shot at a build date would be next monday's allocation.
Only thing currently showing as Built Out is the hard top, but I hear that should not be an issue in January. Everyone should keep their fingers crossed!
Not much showing for 2 door orders. Seems January will be a huge focus on 4 doors.

Misunderstanding
Sorry for the miscommunication. I understand what the codes mean on the first page. What I was asking was if Jeff from Don-A-Vee could clarify if his posting meant anything to those of us on BX status. Also, does "D" come after BX?

Wow! Thank you very much for the update. It gives many of us hope that there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Now why can't the dealer I'm actually purchasing my Jeep through be this helpful? They don't even return my calls.
