I called today and I am still in BG.
The rep told me that I should be talking to the dealer about contacting the dealer rep because this has been a very long time for the order. The CS rep told me that something did not look right.
Time to make a phone call.

Sounds like they are telling you what they think you want to hear. It's WELL known that you will wait 5 months or longer, I don't think either of you have hit 3 yet. There's seems to be a definite process they follow and it seems the only deviation is if someone cancels there order and the dealer could get you in on that order. CS says it seems like something is wrong... to me it seems like EVERY other order that has been placed. Obviously they are full of crap. EVERY forum and write up on the internet talks about this. Even articles that interview Jeep management. As of right now this is the way it is. Give it another few months...
Then when you get it you forget how long it took, and the aggravation they put you through... and you start worrying about the MyGig probems and the top leaking.

MyGig shortages but you see them in EVERY other car Chrysler makes every day. Hard top hold yet they are pumping out hard top EVERYDAY. Dana axle shortages... first I heard of that but I'm sure it's bull$hit. They take orders for over 1000 a day, they make less than 850 a day. They can't keep up with the demand and they know we will wait. They give BS excuses to "hold us over". Just tell the truth... they can't make them fast enough and they are more concerned with loading dealers up with sellable units then completing an order where they know they have your money and you will wait.

Im in Canada and my dealer status is on "I" for 6 days now ....
My dealer says the status code are not always up-to-date but he is sure the JK is shipped ???
I think he is lying because he still didn't have the transport schedule....

David, got this off of another forum yesterday. not good news, but at least we know what to expect.
"The latest numbers production-wise are:
2-DR production is still at a 40% mix. 1,454 last week produced. 5,338 for the month of November. 58,626 yr-to-date.
For the Unlimited the mix is still 60%. 2,078 last week. 7,898 for the month and 87,227 yr-to-date. That's less than 590 units/day. Unfortunately for those with orders, production of Unlimited Rubicons is still less than 60/day requiring 8+ months to fill outstanding orders."

hey paco,
I is - unit built, pending final inspection i hope your dealers right but according to the build codes you got . I used to know a Paco from Quebec, went to LSU majored in wildlife biology got a doctorate I think, drank lots and lots of beer. good luck with your JK.

When did you order? I'm in Canada as well. I ordered in October and was told I am looking at a Feb/March delivery date.
