It's here...
I guess I'm ridiculously lucky. My order went in on 11/8, the vehicle arrived at the dealer today - 11/20. 12 days for the order. Of course it didn't hurt that someone else canceled their order and my dealer was able to slip my order in on their VON.
It should be down with prep tomorrow, but I'm heading out for Turkey day early. So I won't have the Jeep until Friday. In any case, I'm counting my blessings. I've been incredibly lucky...

I know everybody must be waiting forever, just like me, for their Rubicon to be built, but isn't 6 months a bit ridiculous???? I ordered my '07 Unlimited Rubicon in June when I sold my '98 Sahara. In the 5 1/2 months since then, my order status has gone from BG to BX, then back to BG, and now back to BX. Does anyone know what the holdup is? My problem is that '98 was a trade-in, for the now '08 and I will lose out on $1000 worth of sales tax savings if the transaction is not complete within 2007. I sure hope this Rubi is all it's cracked up to be, or I'll be sorely disappointed. I miss my Jeep

I got a phone call today from my dealer that their rep has informed them that all hardtop orders are being held due to a shortage in parts. The estimated lift on the hold is the middle to end of December. My salesperson wanted to know if I would take a soft top to get the order moving.
Has anyone else heard about this?

I am unsure exactly what the cargo loops mean.

EDIT: I just got off the phone and I was told it was released from the plant yesterday. He said they do have to group vehicles by destination so it could be in a lot in Ohio or on a truck or train as we speak.
