I wound up cancelling the JK I had on order since I found another one on a lot, and when I did my salesman told me that the one I ordered was in BG-L for "the tires." I didn't push the issue because frankly I didn't care. I had ordered an X with the S package (the 16-inch alloys). Anyway, take it with a grain of salt...

ok, my dealer told me i would be paying $100 over invoice, is invoice the same as factory warehouse price (FWP)?
i did out the math and compared it to jeep warehouse and it comes out to more like $70 over invoice. Also, on the bottom of the order sheet next to Total Price, it has the letters HB, FFP and EP, as well as your MSRP and FWP.
Respectively, the numbers that coincide are 715, 22947, 22344, 24480, 23179.
I apologize if this has already been covered, but i did a search and scowered the forums... no dice. thanks for any help.

FWP is the same as invoice and it stands for Factory Wholesale Price.
FFP = Friends and Family Price
EP = Factory Employee Price
HB = Hold Back

Finally in "BX"
My Unlimited Rubicon has been ordered since September 26th, stuck in "BG" I guess. As of December 1st, moved to BX and the 800 number people say there is no restrictions or reason for further delay. Any idea of how long it takes to go from "BX" to "driving off the lot?"
Thanks, Sodapop.

Was told by an insider at teh factory today that they are supposed to be ready to ramp up for January and I should get 2-3 Rubi 4 doors allocated. That would mean a lot for the order process moving along faster.

Thanks for the info, however I need a little clarification (and I don't know if I really want to know the answer :-() When you say 5 to 20 weeks, are you referring to the time it takes from when the order is placed (I am hoping for this one) or 5 to 20 weeks from when the jeep reaches "BX" status????
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Paul.

There is no exact answer to give other than anywhere from 5 to 20 weeks. Sounds like a broad range but that is the case.

I'd take the 20 weeks at this point.

I can't imagine the agony/pain you are going through waiting since 7/29 and still being in BG...I am getting it bad enough waiting since 10/9, and being in BX status...:sad:
My dealer had been told by their regional rep that my Rubicon would be picked up this week (aka they were supposed to get allocation for it), but that didn't happen.
