No, there is a whole complicated system behind it. It's back a few pages but look for posts by ghostship in this thread and you'll see an explanation of allocation.

Bad News for all
I just got off the phone with my factory rep and were told that they are presently scheduling for January. I ordered August 28th and best case will be February maybe later way later. The 09 will be relased in July.

Good post but beware some of those issues have been resolved. IE No myGig backorder any longer.

Some cycle a lot between the two. Once your past it, normally it's smooth sailing.
I had my status in my sig before I got my Jeep. Here is my history.
You will drive yourself crazy calling. I know I did. If you can hold off, call once a week on Tuesday. That is the best time best most current status.

Sorry to hear
I just do not understand why other can get theirs in a matter of weeks and others months. You ordered before me and you are back to BG status. What could be such an issue? If it's the mygig's stop putting them into mini vans and start installing them into the huge backlog of orders. Watch they will come out with a V8 or a larger engine right after we get ours.
