I am new to jeeps, test drove one and had to have it. I placed my order last week, hope to have it before Christmas but time will tell. My dealer said they had allocation but did not go into details. Does anyone know if the public can tour the plant? I would like to go while mine is being built if possible.

Since my company supplies parts on the JK, I can get into the plant as part of a supplier visit / customer check-up. I'm still trying to figure out what business I can claim I need to look at to go into their plant tomorrow...

Long wait ahead?
I placed my order on August 28th for my first jeep and have gone from BX to BG and now back to BX. I have talked to my salesman and he doesn't have any answers of when I might be seeing my Jeep. At least he gave me his dealer reps phone number in hopes I could get some answers from him. 
There doen't seem to be a shortage here in Vegas for anything except the Rubicon which one dealer as added a $4,000.00 premuim above MSRP. Plenty of Sahara'a and X's even a few 2 door Rubicon's.

Thanks for all the info...Some dealers are ethical and others are not...Liars Figure but Figures dont Lie!
They agreed to sell me the Red Rock Rubicon Unlimited, loaded with everything except engine block heater that I ordered for $500 over Invoice!
Is it worth the wait??

Accurate Status
Awhile back, I recall reading that someone checked their status and it was BX, but then a few days later, the dealer called to say the Jeep was in.
Has anyone heard or had experience of the status not being accurate? Just curious. I'm at the point where I do not want to call DC anymore because it's depressing :(

Okay, I am starting to get a little frustrated being in "D" for so long...I wonder why I am stuck in "D"???

Is there a difference in time you wait based on where you're ordering from? Because they're made in Ohio, would an order placed in Michigan be filled faster than one placed in Oregon?
