Drove by the parking lot that Jeep uses to put all the finished Jeeps after production and there were at least 200 or so 2dr and 4dr Wranglers sitting there waiting to be shipped out. The lot is where the old Willys Jeep plant used to be. Needless to say I felt like a kid at Christmas time looking through a toy store window.

I'm at D1 Got my vin and my build date 'that can change at any moment' of 10/27.

Good for you! I just checked with my dealer, and I am still D for some reason...

Woo Hoo, dealer just called and my Rubi is shipping! He says my ass will be in the seat in 2 weeks or less!
Should still be time to take it to camp before the snow flies.

Did you get your build date? I'm interested to see how long it takes to get to you from D1 status or build date.

I didn't get a build date, I can tell you the beginning of this month I finally made D, this monday when I called was the first time they said I was in D1, after I talked to the dealer this morning I called and was told KZ. Thats all I really know, and since I still don't actually have it, it is all kind of moot any old hoo!.........but its getting there, or here as the case may be!

I was D 10/10 got my VIN 10/12 and was told today 10/17 that my build date is 10/27. We'll see! I still haven't gotten a word from my dealer; I got the VIN by calling the 800#. One of these days my dealer will call to tell me he has my VIN# and I'll have to tell him I've had it since 10/12! All they care about is making the sale.
